In the spotlight:
Photographer: Daniel Ilinca
I'm a fine art/fashion photographer, retoucher and workshop mentor. I do most of my work in Bucharest, Romania, but also travel a lot for my shootings.
I was planning to become an accountant. Between my economics classes I always found time for my hobby: photography. Ever since I was 13, I remember me walking around my hometown with my very old analog camera. But my real journey in this field started in 2008. I am very grateful for all the positive feedback received since I posted my first image online. This made me work hard and since 2010, it’s a full time job.
I love working with people, so I always prefer taking pictures of real persons, rather than landscaped or architecture.
My creative process is really time consuming. The work I invest in each photograph takes up from two to five hours. I’d rather make an extra effort to capture the perfect image than overuse Photoshop.
Hope you will enjoy my photography!
