Model: Aiste Riksen

Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Aiste Riksen- born and raised in Lithuania, but came to Netherlands for search for a better life. My childhood was not a walk true a golden road , didn’t had a possibility to see or do many things because of a financial situation that my family had , so I stopped my study , packed my stuff and came to the Nederlands to work.It took me 4 years of hard work to stand where I am now- I can proudly say , hard work pays off .

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I wouldn’t change a thing about myself, everything from how you look, think, or things that you do makes you special and  one of a kind.

How did you start modeling?

I was discovered by a photographer Ricardo Poggi who found me on facebook. And of course after one picture aired I have been noticed by other artists as well.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I think it is challenging at times, but because I am a really social person ,I  quickly find that “click” with a photographer that I work with, so it makes work much  easier.

What is your beauty regimen?

I am lucky that I have good genes for my mom- I must be honest I don’t do much to stay fit or special beauty treatments. Just simple things, which I  think every girl does every day.

What are your plans for the future?

I don’t know where future brings me, I always believe that everything comes in your life for a reason, so I leave my future plans in destinies hands. I just take new chances and opportunities and I see where it takes me.

What are some of your favourite experiences so far?

I think every experience is special in some way , even if I am working with the same photographer for 4th time it is still special, so I cannot say there is a specific one.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?

My advice would be – don’t doubt yourself, go for it- let be seen and never give up!

What do you think of the magazine?

I think your magazine is a great opportunity for artists and models to be seen and heard, amazing pictures and articles every day. To all the staff- writers, photographers ect. Keep up the good work !
