ANNA-SOPHIEA OLIVIER

Can you tell us a little about you?

Hi, I 'm Anna-Sophiea. My friends call me Anna.
Besides my mondeling, i am a painter . I design a kind of illustrative artwork. As an illustrator i do not consider myself as just a drawer, but as an artist, because i create things that tell a story. My viewers need to think through the story before they can clearly understand it.

As i see it my drawings are personal works of art that reflect my inner thoughts and viewers are always free to use their imagination when looking at the images.
So basically it is all about openly interpreting and constructing your own emotions. Facing and knowing how to act and react on certain feelings is utterly important to me. Learning how to deal with diverse mental states is sometimes harder than one can think.
I am a very open person. Respect yourself and others. Be positive in life and LOVE. A negative mind will never give you a positive life.
To get stuck in a place or situation where you do not want to be is definitely sommering i try to avoid. I am always driven by the impulse of freedom. The way i see it life is never stable. People change and develop through situations and moments and that is the best way to truly get to know yourself.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I'm pretty happy with myself. I know i have a very distinctive face. My ears i find too big but apparently this is a great thing for fashion agencies.

How did you start modeling?

Actually everything happend very sporadic. I remember very well that i had to cut my hair for a beauty editorial. My contact here was Pascal Van Loenhout. At the shoot i met Giel Domen. I am also very grateful to him. Because of him i could do this Beauty Editorial and it was published in the Marie Claire Belgium. Thanks to a lot of people who believed in me, i can do some jobs. Matthijs (Matt Models) scouted me also on Instagram. It’s just the start of something great and i love it.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I get to meet so many great people. I love to meet different personalities. Learning how to deal with diverse mental states is sometimes harder than one can think. Facing and knowing how to act and react on certain feelings is utterly important to me. It is good that there is some kind of support from family or friends.

What is your beauty regimen?

The basic aspect is to drink a lot of water or (Green Tea), it is very good for your body. As a model it is also important that you have a good night rest. I love swimming! You can work out longer with less pain on your body. Next to that swimming improves flexibility. Never sleep with make-up on. Do not sleep with make-up on, it can have a dramatic impact on your skin. When you take good care of your skin, it will pay off.

What are your plans for the future?

I will see what comes. And hope to be able to have a lot of work. I like to travel and enjoy meeting new people. I will have to see what the future brings. I might not be the tallest but i am going to do the best i can!

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
Everything is always very different. Any work that i have gotten is fun in its own way.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
Just be yourself and everything will be okay. Be always positive. I always search for beauty instead of perfection, as to me perfection does not exist.
