Interview: Cover girl Alex Dziadko (Poland)
Can you tell us a little about you?
I'm a photomodel from Szczecin, Poland, currently living in Cracow. I’m interested in music, cinematography and photography – standing on both sides of camera. In the meantime I love traveling into the uknown, especially by car or motorcycle. What truly characterizes me is a desire to discover new places and enjoying everyday little things.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
Nobody’s perfect and that’s what makes us unique. But it doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t work on ourselves, because otherwise we’d stay closed in our own ego’s world. I have some shortcomings, but I’m constantly working on them.
How did you start modeling?
I’v been loving motorcycles for many years. One day I learned about the photo shoot for the german custom bikes company. I participated and won - with the website photos, calendar and advertising materials as a result. At that time I started to practice photography and that made modelling way easier for me – because I knew, how did it look on the other side.
What do you think of the work as a model?
It’s very exciting – full of surprises, fascinating journeys and interesting meetings. I get to know really lots of people with passion – photographers, make-up artists, stylists, hairdressers. It’s a difficult world, where one can easily fall into complexes and lacking of self-esteem. On the other hand – one can become self-righteous in a heartbeat. Fortunately I know, that I’m safe from that, because every day I learn a lot, meeting various personalities. I am a humble person and I respect others’ work. I think that is the key to stay on the right path and appreciate your job in 100%.
What is your beauty regimen?
Maby you’ll find that weird, but I’m not doing anything special. I eat everything I like (I love eating and I find myself lucky not having to stick to the diet), I excersise very rarely (usually „from tomorrow”), but I have a lot of positive energy and smile – who knows, maby in some magical way it influences the appearance? I know for sure sleeping is a key to both good health and beauty, therefore I try to sleep at least 7 hours a day.
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
I always give a 100% of myself. I’m open-minded and honest, I like making people laugh and affect them with positive attitude. I like helping my collegues and sharing my knowledge with them. I’m also very fair and you can always count on me. Regarding my look, I think the most eye-catching thing is my hair. I hear a lot of kind opinions about it, because it’s thick, long and has nice, light blonde shade.
What are your plans for the future?
I plan to develop myself in the photography field. I have a lot of interesting projects ahead of myself, also from abroad. I want to get better and better – not only as a model and photographer, but also as a person.
What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
Luckily I can’t complain about having not many positive events in my life, but one of the most enjoyable experience was, mentioned before, custom bikes photo shoot. One event led to the others – I’ve been appreciated and I could pose to the next shoot, then I also participated in the international motorcycle fair. I am still in touch with company’s owners and we have plans to realize more joint projects.
I find playing in video clips equally satisfying, because this way I can show my acting skills. Generally speaking, every project I participate brings me joy and fulfillment.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
Be yourself, follow your dreams and never give up, but also don’t forget about being humble and respecting others’ time and work.
