Interview: Cover Model: Léa Isis (France)

Can you tell us a little about you?

So I am a soon to be 22yrs old french girl who was born in Paris but grew up in the South of France (Toulouse). I just graduated from an English degree

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I think I'd like my boobs to be a bit bigger (like maaaany girls do haha)

How did you start modeling?

I kinda started modeling in a strange way. I was first introduced to photography while I was doing Cosplay, then I met a photographer with whom I learnt to be more and more confortable with the camera. But real modeling started when I shared my pictures on facebook groups and started to shoot with several people before signing into an agency.

What do you think of the work as a model?

So far; I think modeling is really ok. I met a bunch of really cool people who taught me a lot of things. I was really lucky in my modeling adventure.

What is your beauty regimen?

To me, having a good skin is the best asset of all. So I pay great attention to drink a lot of water and moisturize my skin twice a day. I also use homade body scrubs once a week.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

Maybe my creativity can distinguish me. I like to see photography as acting so when I shoot, I just play a role, try to forget about being pretty, looking good, my aim is just to send a message to the camera.

What are your plans for the future?

Ah, the future... Actually I a, not sure, I know I'll go in Asia next year to work there, but for the rest, I' have no idea.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I really enjoyed working in Cyprus. the sun, the beach... people are really nice and professional. But I must admit I got really addicted to Frappe coffees!

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

I would say, just go, try, and if you fail, try again and be yourself, but never forget that nothing lasts forever and that tomorrow it can be over, especially in fashion industry.

What do you think of the magazine?

I discovered the magazine really recently and I must admit I kinda love the format. I don’t read so many magazines, but finding one putting light on young and talented artists is a real pleasure!
