Can you tell us a little about you?

I’m Estelle and I’m 23 years old. Just an alternative german girl with a french name that started modeling and loves art. I love to express myself through it and I love to have many projects open at any time, so I also study and work at a customer service center.

 

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Mhmm I don’t think, that I would change anything about myself. I learned to love who I am.

 

How did you start modeling?

In 2014 I registered at a page for modeling and had 6 shootings. A few more the following year, some of them for a label campaign and a start up firm. Last year I had a lot more shootings and loved the modeling so much. I worked with such passionate artists, visited nice places and went to great meet-ups and parties. It was one of the best years in my life! A lot of the people I met are not only photographers or models to me anymore, they’re friends.

 

What do you think of the work as a model?

It’s a job, that you need a lot of passion and creativity for. It’s also a very tough and time consuming one, if you make a living of of it. The Business is hard but if you love what you do and stay creative and true to yourself, you don’t find interesting jobs, they find you.

 

What is your beauty regimen?

I did a lot of sports in the past (triathlon for the most time) and I think I have good genes ;) at the moment I don’t have much time for it though. When I’m not on set or in front of a camera I don’t use make-up at all. My work free time, is also make-up free and I think my skin is very grateful for this.

 

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I am a really passionate person that feels extremely connected to things and people I spend a lot of time with. Sometimes it’s like my heart is to close to everything. But this also makes me able to love things even more. It is almost like the dark days that are behind me, gave me my best ideas and made me the creative person I am today.

 

What are your plans for the future?

I love to make art and would love to have a job in a creative area. Also, I would like to continue modeling in the future, because it’s a way to express my feelings, that I just need in my life.

 

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

In the past I had some hard times but through them, I learned to appreciate what I have. As I said before, 2016 was just one of the best years, that I’ve ever had, with great experiences and memories. There is also a road trip through Croatia I did once, that was absolutley amazing and always comes to mind, when someone asks me about the best times I had so far. To sum it up, I try to do what I want to do and don’t wait for the right time. I just live my life in the moment and enjoy every second of it.

 

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

First, this is a difficult question to answer. Everyone is different and also there are so many ways to start in this business. I think it’s important to start with a good photographer, because good pictures are the real basis of everything in modeling. If you don’t know someone, consider hiring someone with a lot of experience, that not only takes good photos of you but also has some advice. Also, please first think about what you want to do and what you want to express with these first pictures. Get in contact with several people and just find someone who fits your personality and needs.

 

What do you think of the magazine?

I think this magazine is such a great thing! I love the idea so much and also thought about a concept like this before. Also, I find new talented models and photographer every time I read it.
