Interview: Model Kim Lowe Jolie (Sweden)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I'm 20 years old, and I live in Sweden with my two cats. Right now I'm just the most boring person because I'm studying. But some weekends I work in denmark at a rockbar High Voltage, and also dance there sometimes. I party, hang with friends, also enjoy being on my own , poledance and so on. Otherwise my life is pretty simple.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Perhaps the most inspireing thing to say would be "nothing, I'm happy with the way I look and you should accept yourself for who you are." but honestly there's tons of things I'm gonna change that I'm not happy with. I'm getting my breasts done and some things on my face as well. Plastic surgery is a bodymodification and there's nothing wrong with it in my eyes.

How did you start modeling?

It's something I've always wanted to do since I can remember, really. But I didn't feel comfortable enough though because of some genderissues I had back then. When I was 18 my friend asked out on fb if someone wanted to be her model. It just felt right and natural because I've always imagened myself as a model, even though my first time wasn't the best.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I think it's very fun, but also very hard. I'm still an amature model, so It's very important for me to find a photographer that's on the same page as I am. If I'm not comfortable I wont do it no matter how good of a photographer you are. The good sides is that when you do find the right photographer you both end up happy with the result, and as a model I always learn new tricks and tips.

What is your beauty regimen?

Exfoliating and moisturizing. When you use a lot of makeup this is a must. People would be suprised how much makeup ruins your skin.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

My honesty and way of viewing things from another perspective I believe. I have never felt that I've  had someone in my life that gets me or feel the way that I do about life, close but not fully.

What are your plans for the future?

Become a successful exotic dancer, a model, and at some point a psycholigist.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I don't really have any special ones so far in the model buizness, since I'm still an amature. I guess the best ones would be when your idols been commenting or liking your pictures that you're proud of.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Practice at home in the mirror, take photos of yourself in different angles. This will make you learn where to look, how to pose, how to control your body and face. Also, always be careful and picky!

What do you think of the magazine?

I think it's supercool that both amature and proffessional photographers and model can share their work. Because even the amature ones like myself are so creative and do deserve more attention. So this magazine is definetly something I would recommend to others.
