Can you tell us a little about you?

Hi! I'm Ksusha (Oksana). Was born in Ukraine. Now traveling a lot because of my lovely job.

 

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would love to add some 5-7 cm to my height but I actually I'm super fine with myself

 

How did you start modeling?

That was a childhood dream. I remember myself watching commercials, fashion shows and music videos since I was 3 years old. And I liked this kind of stuff a lot. I was impressed by all bright ideal make ups from magazines, lights and flashes around supermodels of 90es. I was totally addicted to watching them acting, moving, giving beautiful glance to camera and smile. I had so clear understanding how this model posing works naturally and of course imagine myself there and did the same moves. The main hard problem was my small city in deep Ukraine where you can't find any agencies. So first step I made-enter to University. It was 2007 and at that time we just got VKontakte (kinda Russian Facebook) where I start looking for photographers and slowly I start build my portfolio on TFP. I spend 5 years working hard on it to get first contract to Istanbul. OMG! I was the happiest in the world to reach and taste this professional level. And that was just the beginning...

 

What do you think of the work as a model?

Of course it takes a lot of efforts and discipline, so many traveling and living abroad far away from family and friends but at the same time it's amazing opportunity to discover new places and find friends all over the world. Learn English or even few more languages. As for me the big plus is that u have this ability to live abroad for a few month so u can learn and watch culture, traditions, people. U have time to feel the city and it's rhythm. It's wonderful.

 

What is your beauty regimen?

Well, I don't really have something special. Just active live, lots of walking, dancing, bicycling, good sleep) never drinking alcohol before shootings. That's pretty much it

 

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

Well everyone is unique. So there is no someone exactly like me in this world. But what helps me to get jobs (even with the fact that I'm hardly 170) is professionalism, huge experience and hunger to get more of there two, hunger to do more, to create something better every time. Learning and getting better is necessary aspect in every job no matter what u do. I have my own motive- this is the way to express myself. Cause so many woman lives inside every girl and they show up one by one depends of circumstances (mood, song, clothes you wear). And I love act it out. In shootings we have this possibility to get a beautiful make up and  couture dress then I just feel myself as Diva acting and behave like a Diva. Sometimes it's a total fashion angry look. Or just natural myself. Its wonderful challenge and incredible experience to discover all types of edges we have inside as a personality.

 

What are your plans for the future?

Acting is very interesting for me. I'm trying to do some short movies for start. Also, wanna take a bit more education. So much interesting stuff is going on now. Internet opened for us unlimited possibilities. I want to learn more English and Danish, take dancing classes, acting lessons, spend some free time for volunteering job etc. And of course keep modeling)

 

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

Ohhh. That's very hard question. I had so many unique and amazing shootings. Too hard to pick one. I remember shooting in Antalia for a brand new hotel. We were living there for 3 days and enjoyed all the benefits. Also, nice memories about commercial for Pegasus airlines. There was a Dream Team. We were Avengers and that was extremely fun and huge experience. But actually I've got a lot of knowledge from every work and proud of every single result.

 

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Of course) First of all you've better be super confident and comfortable with your look. Loving yourself is the first rule!  All other stuff you will learn fast ;) Modeling is pretty cruel world but never give up and keep going
