Interview: Model Michelle Lundqvist (Sweden)

Can you tell us a little about you?

Well my name is Michelle Lundqvist, 23 years old half latino living in a town called Örebro here in sweden.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

First thing I would change is my social phobia which im working on cause I think I would been modeling much earlier. Second is probably more tattoos.

How did you start modeling?

Well I’ve always been interested in modeling from watching Americas Next Top Model and my family told me when I was younger that I should try it. But I didnt think I would have that "it factor" if you know what I mean. But a year ago or so my very first photographer Miguel Colinet asked me if I was intrested for some shooting so I took the chance and here I am.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I think its kinda unique and not so easy as it looks.

What is your beauty regimen?

I like to take care of myself, not cause I have to.. people always comment my skin, how beautiful and smooth it is. So I do facemasks sometimes and on my hair too.  Im trying to workout, but im a lazy as who loves junkfood.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I like to try new different things, and I can show feelings on my photos.

What are your plans for the future?

Work more as a model, travel the world.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I think every photoshoot is a experience, you try new different things and get to know new people. But my favorite one was my visit to Stockholm this year, cause I had two bookings that week, one with another model and the other one with a new photographer. Like I told you before I’ve got social phobia that im working on, and Stockholm is a big city, which means people everywhere! and Im really bad to find locations, even in my own city I cant remember the streets names. But anyway, somehow I found the locations where I was going to and I did my very first duoshoot with Amina Selling. I was so proud of myself so I went to a resturant on my own and celebrated myself for doing this.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Always ask the photographer for a portfolio so you can see his previously work. and ask if you can bring a friend/boyfriend/girlfriend etc.  You can always try to do some poses at home so you kinda know what your doing with your body. And remember dont stop doing your thing cause others might not like it.

What do you think of the magazine?

I think its great for models and photographers. You get to know us a little bit more and its both beginners and professionals. Im really glad to be a part of it.
