Interview: Model Nicole Nathalie Olmedo (Sweden)
Can you tell us a little about you?
Nicole Nathalie Olmedo (February 7, 1992) From Sweden, Stockholm.
I am a Model and an actress who travels between Sweden, Los Angeles and Brazil.
I did my first photoshoot when I was in Los Angeles in 2014 as I pursued a career in acting. At the moment I am represented by Agencia Doze in brazil (Mother agency).
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I usually don’t walk around thinking that I want to change stuff about myself.
I try stay focused on my goals and what I want to achieve by keeping a positive and confident mind.
How did you start modeling?
I started in Los Angeles where a friend encouraged me to do a photoshoot and start modeling.
I tried it out and absolutely loved it. It hasn't been an easy road. It has been a lot of hard work with a lot of no’s. It’s not until recently that stuff started to come together for me and I believe it’s because I'm extremely stubborn. If I want something I will have it and if I get a no, I will be keep fighting till I get a yes.
What do you think of the work as a model?
It takes a lot of commitment, discipline and hard work to be able to pursue a career as a model. But I think it’s extremely fun, I love to travel and I can't stay at the same place for too long, so it's perfect for me.
What is your beauty regimen?
Routine is the key for me. Sleep well, eat clean and workout regularly.
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
My ambitions are high and I am not afraid to fail. I know what I want and I will fight for it till I have it. I’ve also heard that I have a fun, humble and easy going attitude on set and I think that’s why I get called back so often to work with the same people.
What are your plans for the future?
It’s hard to plan too much when you are in the fashion and entertainment industry because things are constantly changing. However I want to be able to focus on acting and modeling at the same time, which I have had a hard time to combine.
What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
I guess it was my FIRST Fashion show in Los Angeles. It was the excitement, the adrenaline, music and the flashing lights from the cameras that gave me the high.
My first catwalk was just such a memorable and powerful experience.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
If this is what you really want to do, never give up no matter of how many nos you get.
Workout, stay healthy, sleep well and do a lot of free test shoots.
What do you think of the magazine?
It’s a very nice magazine and I have discovered a lot of amazing people from different places of the world that I would love to work with in the future.
