Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Roberta. I am a passionate and creative girl, in love with travels, foreign cultures and art. 

In my life I had the chance to discover the world: I lived in the Bahamas, in French Polynesia, Switzerland, Italy and sailed across Latin America and the Mediterranean Sea for a year.

Wherever I go, the purpose of my travels is to discover beauty. 

And discover myself.

My inspiration comes from nature, architecture, photography, art, fashion, dance performances and music. 

Passion is the source of my everyday energy and I am very lucky having the chance to do what I love for a living.

 

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Through the good and bad times of my life I learned that the best thing to do is to accept yourself for who you are and try to get the best from that.

So I won’t change anything.

 

How did you start modeling?

I’ve always loved taking pictures of myself during my travels. I used to post them on Instagram and other social medias. 

That’s how I’ve been discovered by the fashion industry at the beginning of 2016, by chance.

As I came back to Milan, my hometown a talent scout noticed me. 

I was offered a job as a mannequin for a very well known brand in via Montenapoleone area, the main fashion district in Milan. 

It all started from here and now I have the chance to work with amazing professionals as a full time model also for photo shootings, fashion shows and adverts.

 

What do you think of the work as a model?

Modeling is the way I can express myself. My inner feelings and vibes all come out freely during photo sessions. I always try to put my ideas and creativity in every shot, I love to collaborate with photographs in the conception of the shooting.

Pictures are pieces of me, they reflect the different aspects of my personality. That’s why I definitely love being a model.

 

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I am very versatile, a chameleon. 

I love experimenting different kind of dressing styles and moods and it all reflects in my job as a model. It is such fun to change everytime!

I also love to talk and mix with different kind of people, I am very curious and I love to discover other cultures and try different things.

 

What is your beauty regimen?

When you first think of the word beauty, first thing that usually comes to mind is outside appearance, but from my point of view beauty also includes personality. 

I feel that beauty can be found in each person, To be beautiful you don't have to have the prettiest face or the biggest breast; it’s basically how you present yourself as an individual.

I try to do something every day that makes me feel good about myself, things that make me feel better. 

I take care of my body with an healthy diet and sport.

You cannot live a happy life if you don’t love yourself first.

 

What are your plans for the future?

Try to do my best to do what I love in my life. I am always willing to learn and to get better in my job although I know modeling isn’t forever, but it makes me happy now, and fulfilled.

Happiness is being happy with the person you see everyday in the mirror, love yourself and have passions that help you overcome all fears and bad times.

I am the source of my own happiness. 

If I don’t love who I am or what I do I will never be happy in my life: It took me a long time to understand that but now I can say that am proud of who I am today.

 

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

Working abroad is always very exciting and stimulating.

My first professional shooting ever was in Bora Bora, French Polynesia.

I think the magic of this place is an extraordinary added value, a source of inspiration.

And now, looking back at those pictures i do not only see a nice shot, but i can feel again the emotion of living in such a beautiful place.

 

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Do it with passion, be curious, keep your feet on the ground and… have fun!
