Tell us something about yourself
Born In Poland... was travelling a lot. Living in Belgium for some time now. I always admired beauty around me... and that is what i wanted to immortalize.

How and when did you get into photography?
I admired watching beauty of the world presented in a visual form: sculpture, painting, photography. I had no chance to create something in first two forms, so photography was only medium I could try. And more I did it, more I liked.

What does photography mean to you?
It is a way to escape routine of normal life for me. Good reason to open my eyes, my mind and be creative.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
I don't think that I got a style. I always experiment and try to create something new. Of course I like classic, elegant themes. Showing woman in a context. Maybe that is what is what people call my style.

Where do you get inspiration from?
Watching the world. Of course I have some photographs of masters that inspired me like Helmut Newton, Ellen von Unwerth...but for my own photographs... I am just observing world around me, looking at people...and adding my own things that came to my mind. Sometimes I take available elements...and think what can I create from it.

Think you in advance what you want in the picture?
Almost always. I go to the set few days before, I look at photos of the model that will be working with. Possible accessories, stylizations... and then create ideas around it...if not existed before. Then I write all those on the back of invitation cards (the blank page) that I receive from people, and then I am using those written ideas on the shooting day.

Studio, on location or both?
Only location. I like realism in photography. Context where subject is existing.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
Hobbyist. I got a well paid job, so I can do photography just for a pleasure.

What has been your most memorable session and why?
Oh I perfectly remember each of those...and may speak about them for hours.
But what you remember most are accidents. One of such accident was when I was shooting in a parc early in the morning, with nude model. Then I saw old lady walking her dogs. I have asked if I may use those beauties with my model. 3 minutes after photos were taken. And I could finish photosession as I was satisfied of this nice surprise.

What has been the biggest source of inspiration in your work?
World

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
Hasselblad, pentax, 4x5. Favourite lens: Hasselblad 110mm f2

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
Be creative. Think before shooting. And realize unique photographs that will break viewers hearts.

What do you think of our new magazine?
I do like the form, and content, however I would change the design of a main page. I cannot say anything about paper version, as I havent seen it yet
